Yesterday, at about 9:53 PM, I proved that I could string more than 25,000 words into a coherant story, following the same characters from the beginning of a complication to its resolution (plus a 30-page flashback), beating the previous record set by Aqua Vitae right out of the water. 95,000 words. Today Aqua Vitae received a personal rejection from the anthology I submitted it to. The editor's comments were that it was well-written, but the story didn't grab him. All right. Rejection because of personal taste is the best kind, right?

Got my rejection (is that what you call it when you don't in? Or is it a 'loser notice' or some such?) from Writers of the Future today. I kinda expected it.
